Dear Friend,

This May, will you walk 10,500 steps for the 10,500 people living with dementia in Simcoe County and raise funds to support the critical programs and services offered by the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County?

Join us on Sunday, May 29th at Simcoe County Museum where we can walk together for the first time since May 2019 and celebrate everyone who walked during the month of May. It will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event featuring local entertainment, vendors, food, and more. If you would like to be a vendor or make a product donation, contact us below.

Programs & Services Update

We recognize that COVID-19 public health restrictions are loosening in the community and that things are changing at a fast pace. We will continue to balance the shifting environment with the risks associated with the population we serve. Masks and physical distancing may still be required to participate in many of our programs this month. If you are unsure about what to expect, please inquire with program staff.

Our latest Programs Guide is available! From in-person to virtual options, we've got you covered! To check out what we are offering from April to June, please visit our website. Click here »

Stress pushes us to perform, whether it be physical or mental. Exercise is a form of physical stress, working our body to make it stronger. And without the stress of deadlines, it can be hard to get things done. Source: Heart and Stroke Foundation
